Dürrenmungenau Castle is a moated castle in the Historicist style, located in the Dürrenmungenau district of Abenberg in the Middle Franconian district of Roth, Bavaria. The castle and its outbuildings are listed as historical monuments.

In 1278, Dürrenmungenau was first mentioned as Mungenau. At that time, there was a fortified house to secure the road from Nuremberg to Augsburg.

After the town and the castle were destroyed in the Thirty Years' War and the town became a wasteland, Dürrenmungenau was bought in 1651 by Jobst Christoph Kress von Kressenstein from Nuremberg and resettled.
