Egg Castle

The castle is first mentioned in 1466 as being in the possession of the Lords of Khuenburg. In 1490, it underwent an expansion and renovation. In 1586, the castle burned down and was subsequently rebuilt. In 1648, the castle burned down again and was rebuilt in its present form.

The castle is a four-story building with a rectangular floor plan. The facades are plastered and painted white. The windows are rectangular and have green shutters. The roof is a hipped roof and is covered with red tiles.

The interior of the castle has been extensively renovated and modernized. The rooms are spacious and bright. The floors are made of wood or stone. The walls are plastered and painted white. The ceilings are decorated with stucco.

The castle is currently used as a hotel and restaurant. It is also a popular venue for weddings and other events.
