Eggermühlen Castle

Schloss Eggermühlen+
The former manor Eggermühlen is first mentioned in 1352. The property changed hands in 1583 to Goerg von Langen, at the end of the 16th century to Caspar von der Wenge, and in 1654 to Joachim von Boeselager. From 1714-18, the manor was expanded into a castle by Franz Heinrich Anton von Boeselager. Johann Conrad Schlaun created the orangery in the castle garden in 1754, which is still preserved today. A castle chapel was added in 1869.
