Ehrenhausen Castle
North of Klagenfurt's city center, Ehrenhausen Castle is a three-part building complex at the foot of the Spitalsberg.
History+
The first documented mention of Ehrenhausen Castle dates back to 1588, when it was owned by the von Neuhaus family. The oldest part of the complex is the southeast wing, whose origins lie in the 16th century. In the 17th century, the west wing was added, a three-story building with corner oriel windows supported by corbels. The newest section adjoins to the north, completing the ensemble.

Ehrenhausen Castle is located in the Annabichl district of Klagenfurt am Wörthersee, in the Klagenfurt Stadt district in Carinthia, Austria. It is situated at an elevation of approximately 454 meters above sea level.
