Ehrenhausen Castle
Ehrenhausen Castle is a castle north of the historic center of the city of Klagenfurt am Wörthersee and is located at the foot of the Spitalsberg in the district of Feschnig.
The castle was first mentioned in a document in 1588, the owners at that time were a family from Neuhaus. Today the castle is privately owned.
Ehrenhausen Castle is a three-part building complex. The oldest part is the southeast wing from the 16th century. The hexagonal tower with an onion dome is striking. The west wing dates from the 17th century. It is a three-story building, the bay windows are supported by corbels and are set at an angle. The newest part of the building adjoins to the north.
