Eisenburg Castle

The castle was built in 1567 on the remains of a refuge castle first mentioned in 1208 by the Lords Reichlin von Meldegg. During the Thirty Years' War, the castle was destroyed and rebuilt in 1653. On New Year's Eve 1926/1927, the castle burned down and was subsequently rebuilt in its current simple form.
