Emsburg Castle, also known as Kreuzhof, Ritterhof, or Lambergschloss, is a building in Salzburg-Morzg, Austria. It was erected in the early 17th century.

History+

Emsburg Castle was built between 1619 and 1620, almost simultaneously with the nearby Hellbrunn Palace. Archbishop Markus Sittikus supported its construction, which was initiated by Johann Sigmund von Mabon, captain of his personal guard. Although the castle was not yet completed at Sittikus' death, Paris Lodron confirmed further funding. Through marriage, the estate later passed to the Barons von Rehlingen.
