Engelsholm Castle
Engelsholm Castle, an estate in the Danish region of Syddanmark, now serves as a college for artistic studies.
History+
Timme Rosenkrantz Nielsen acquired the estate from the Danish Crown in 1452. In 1590 it passed into the possession of the Brahe family, who had the current castle building constructed between 1592 and 1593. In 1784, Admiral Niels Juel was recorded as the owner of the castle. Since 1939, Engelsholm Castle is used as a college for artistic studies.
