Fels Castle

The castle on Schulplatz is a two-winged, two-story complex from the first half of the 17th century with a gabled roof and a round corner tower in the southwest. It was presumably built on the site of a castle mentioned in a document in 1160 by Leopold and Konrad von Velze. The exterior facade shows a simple pilaster strip division in the south and west. On the courtyard side, a small oriel window on consoles rises in the south. The building has rectangular windows with stone frames and segmental arch portals. In the west, it is accessible through two round arch portals.
