Fontenais Castle
In the Swiss canton of Jura, the municipality of Fontenais is home to Fontenais Castle, a Rococo-style building. It is distinguished by its two towers with onion domes and today serves as the seat of the municipal administration as well as residential space.
History+
The construction of Fontenais Castle took place in 1740. It was built in the Rococo style on behalf of Jean Faber, who served as a prince-bishop's physician. In 1976, the property came into the possession of the municipality, which has since used it for communal purposes.

Today, Fontenais Castle houses the municipal administration. Furthermore, apartments are accommodated within its premises. The building is publicly accessible, at least in the administrative areas.
