Fünfkirchen Castle, also known as Steinebrunn Castle, stands in the Lower Austrian Weinviertel region. This building once served as an administrative center.

History+

The castle's origins date back to the late Romanesque period, with remnants of a previous structure integrated into the later building. In 1602, Baron Johann Bernhard von Fünfkirchen commissioned the construction of a new four-winged castle in the late Renaissance style, which subsequently served as the hub of his estate. At the beginning of the 18th century, under Count Johann Adam von Fünfkirchen, the castle underwent a Baroque transformation, evidenced today by a stuccoed Sala terrena and remains of secco paintings.
