Frühe Geschichte
Das Schloss wurde um 1100 im Besitz der Herren von Vinastetten erstmalig erwähnt. Im 16. und 17. Jahrhundert erfolgte dann ein Neubau unter den Herren von Fünfstetten. Der Besitz wechselte 1811 an den Baron Friedrich von Schönfeld, welcher das Schloss 1817-25 aus- und umbauen ließ. Seit 1907 ist in dem Schloss das Maria-Stern-Kloster untergebracht.
