Lower Castle Gamburg
The castle was built in 1522 by Rüdt von Collenberg. Ownership changed to the Lords of Kronenberg and to the von Sickingen family. Around 1700, the castle was expanded. In 1877, the physician Professor Carl Gerhardt bought the castle. It is still owned by his descendants today.
