Hotel
Golm Castle
The castle was built in 1920 by Niuta von dem Bottlenberg, an actress. She had the castle built as a spa hotel, in which personalities such as Marlene Dietrich and Willy Frisch subsequently lived. The hotel was operated until 1939, then the castle had to be sold. The National Socialists had refused to continue to allow spa operations. In 1945 the castle was expropriated and a recreation home was established. After the fall of the Berlin Wall, the descendants of the builder bought the castle. After extensive renovation, the castle could be reopened as a hotel with a restaurant.
