Graffeln Castle

Graffeln Castle, a structure in North Rhine-Westphalia, was built at the beginning of the 20th century as a manor house. It is located in close proximity to Wewelsburg, whose architectural style it partly reflects.

The construction of Graffeln Castle took place in 1910 and 1911. It originally served as the manor house of an estate belonging to the von und zu Brenken family. The main building was designed as a single-story country house on a high basement and topped with a mansard roof. The three round towers at the corners of the building show a stylistic resemblance to the nearby Wewelsburg.
