History+

The earliest documented mentions of the Greusnicher family date back to 1160 and 1170, with Arnold de Greiczing being named. It is believed that this family had its seat in Groissing in Arbing. Perthold von Greusnich, mentioned in 1326, was likely the last member of this lineage. The 'Grezcinc' complex is said to have been a fief of the Liechtensteins. After World War II, the castle served as the community's poorhouse.
