Grünfeld Castle

Schloss Grünfeld was built in 1844-46 on the walls of the old Lostschloss by Prince Otto Viktor I of Schönburg-Waldenburg.

The history of Schloss Grünfeld, located in the heart of Saxony, dates back to the Middle Ages. Originally, a medieval fortress stood on this strategic site, which served to protect the region.
