Schloss Hartmannsberg is located between Lake Schloßsee and Lake Langbürgner See in the the municipality of Bad Endorf in the Bavarian Chiemgau region.

The estate first appears as a depiction in the Codex Falkensteinensis from the year 1166. It is the "Water Castle Hademarsperch", which was one of the four main castles of the Falkensteiners (alongside Neuburg, Falkenstein, and Hernstein).

In 1839, Schloss Hartmannsberg was auctioned off by the state to Baron Maximilian von Crailsheim. In 1994, the district of Rosenheim acquired the castle.
