Heby 1630 was owned by Leslie Alexander and 1659 by Gustav Horn's widow Sigrid Bielke. Later transferred to the possession of Count Robert Lichton, to Colonel G. von Knorring and Governor Baron Sven Westerman Liljencrantz in whose family the castle built in 1780 is still located.
