Heidelberg Castle (Hohentannen)

Heidelberg Castle in the Thurgau village of Hohentannen was built as a country estate by Jakob Grubenmann and G. Held on behalf of Leonhard von Muralt-Egger between 1744 and 1745.

From 1830, Friedrich von Muralt ran a private educational institution in the castle. In 1901, the family sold the castle.
