Schloss Hofen: A Historical Overview+
Schloss Hofen was built in 1722 by Knight Karl Josef von Neuhausen. In 1753, Duke Karl Eugen purchased the castle. From 1779 to 1785, a military orphanage was established in the castle. Afterwards, the castle was used as a school, town hall, and after renovations in 1990, as condominiums.
