Holzhausen Castle

School

The castle is first mentioned in 1127 as "Gschlößl" in Holzhausen. In 1527, ownership passed to Gilch Hofer von Wigiläus Hund. In 1612, Dr. Cosmas Fagh, Chancellor of Burghausen, bought the property. In 1644, ownership passed to Johann Greimolt and in 1698 to Christoph Mayer.
