Hornstaad Castle in Gaienhofen-Horn, on the shore of Lake Constance at the tip of the Höri peninsula, once served as a residence for the canons of Öhningen Monastery and now houses a restaurant.

The exact origins of Hornstaad Castle are not fully clear; it is believed that a smaller predecessor building or a castle once stood on this site. The two-story half-timbered building with its stair tower, visible today, was constructed around 1640.
