Hubertushöhe Castle (Storkow)

The building was constructed between 1899 and 1900 for the Privy Councillor of Commerce Georg Büxenstein. It served as a country house and hunting lodge, blending elements of Neo-Gothic with the Swiss style. The designs were created by architects M. Jacob and G. Roensch. The property, a stucco building, was set within a landscape park. A feature is the main house's octagonal tower with its pointed roof. Inside, decorations with hunting motifs define the ambiance, created by artists such as Julius Bodenstein (paintings), Karl Wagner (animal paintings), and Professor Gotthold Riegelmann (carvings).
