History of the Castle+

The castle was built in 1720 on the foundations of an older complex by Walrad Ludwig von Wilcke. As early as 1752, reconstruction work began by Wilhelm Ludwig von Wilcke, and in 1764, a library was added. In 1826, Achill Graf Hue de Grais acquired the property.
