The construction of Hurlach Castle took place in 1610 under the patronage of Max Fugger zu Kirchberg und Weißenhorn. In the 18th century, the building underwent extensive changes, influenced by the Baroque and Rococo styles. These transformations included expansions and a redesign of the interiors. Another renovation was carried out in 1899.
