On the Danish island of Funen near Faaborg, Hvedholm Castle rises. The historicist building is known for its architectural homage to French Baroque and now serves as a hotel.

The origins of the Hvedholm estate date back to the 16th century, when it was a noble residence owned by families such as Brahe and Hardenberg. The current castle was built in 1880 for Count Bille Brahe Selby, replacing an older manor house. The three-winged building was constructed in the Historicist style, incorporating elements of French Baroque.

Hvedholm Castle is located in Horne, a district of Faaborg-Midtfyn in the Syddanmark region, Denmark. It is situated at an elevation of approximately 30 meters above sea level.
