Das Schloss in Ichstedt existierte bereits im 16. Jahrhundert, wurde aber im 18. oder 19. Jahrhundert umfassend erneuert. Einen Brand 1970 zerstörte einen Teil des Gebäudes, wodurch heute nur noch ein Gebäudetrakte und die Umfassungsmauer der Kernanlage erhalten geblieben sind.
