Schloss Isareck, near Wang, is a building that once served as a ducal residence. Its history is marked by destruction and reconstruction.

The origins of the Isareck lordship stretch far back, passing from the Counts of Moosburg into the possession of the Wittelsbachs. The current castle was built between 1559 and 1570 on behalf of Duke Albrecht V. The Moosburg master builder Asmus Hälmayr designed a four-wing complex. After a fire in 1648, the castle was rebuilt in 1664 and underwent further renovations between 1775 and 1777. In 1803, the southeastern half was demolished, significantly altering the original structure. Since 1824, the castle has been owned by the Counts La Rosée.
