Jahnsfelde Castle is the ancestral castle of the von Pfuel family, who acquired the property in 1449. The castle's core consists of a two-story solid plastered building. The building is partially cellared with rooms featuring cross-rib vaults from the 17th century (likely around 1680). The exterior appearance of this oldest surviving part of the building was probably reshaped in a classical style around 1831 and features a slightly projecting central risalit on its southern show facade, whose crowning gable field is adorned, among other things, with the von Pfuel family's coat of arms crafted in sandstone. The center of the south facade is the altana with staircases on both sides. In 1871, the year the German Empire was founded, the castle underwent a generous expansion with brick extensions in Märkisch Neo-Gothic forms. These are adorned with richly structured stepped gables crowned with battlements, accompanied by two round stair towers and another tower with a pyramidal brick helmet, which houses the main entrance from the north side. Above the main entrance, an inscription shows the connection to the long reign of the von Pfuel family in Jahnsfelde:

Good luck in, bad luck out,
This is the Pfuelen's knightly house for four hundred years, –
May God preserve in happiness and dangers
Family and house.

In 1945, the von Pfuel family was dispossessed and expelled by the communists. Today, the castle and estate serve as an equestrian center with a restaurant and accommodation.
