Jetzendorf Castle, a historic structure, is located in Upper Bavaria's Jetzendorf. The complex, designed as a three-winged building, is privately owned and inhabited by the owning family.

History+

The origins of Jetzendorf date back to 893, when Count Jezo exchanged lands here. Construction of the castle began in the 12th or 13th century, with the oldest surviving elements dating from the late Gothic period. The castle acquired its current form in the 1610s with the addition of a west and south wing. In 1840, an upper floor and the gable of the older main castle had to be removed due to pest infestation.
