A manor house, a "seat" in Kalchreuth, is not mentioned in the sales and enfeoffment documents of the 13th and early 14th centuries, and thus probably did not yet exist. It was only when Burgrave Johann enfeoffed the sons of the deceased Ulrich III. Haller with Kalchreuth in 1395/98 that a "dwelling" is mentioned in documents.
