Kaltohmfeld Castle

The building, originally a fortified court, likely existed in the Middle Ages. In the first half of the 16th century, the building underwent reconstruction.

Around 1600, the building was expanded with a new wing. The current appearance of the building is largely shaped by the Baroque period. In the 18th century, the building was extensively renovated and received its present facade.

In the 19th century, the building served various purposes. It was used as a residential building, a guesthouse, and even a school. During this time, several interior modifications were made to adapt the building to its respective use.

In the 20th century, the building was recognized as a historical monument. Extensive renovation work was carried out to preserve its historical substance while adapting it to modern requirements. Today, the building houses a museum that showcases its rich history.
