Kirchberg Castle

The castle was built in 1723 on the site of an old fortress by Peter von Waltern. In 1864, the doctor's family Pachmayr acquired the castle, and since 1972, it has been owned by the Schöndorfer family.

The castle chapel, consecrated to St. George, was built in 1730. It is a jewel of Baroque architecture and houses an impressive altar painting by Johann Michael Rottmayr.

The castle park, laid out in the English style, invites you to take extensive walks. It offers a variety of rare trees and plants, as well as a charming rose garden.
