The von der Lühe Family
Schloss Kölzow was built around 1850 by the von Prollius family on the site of older manor buildings belonging to the von der Lühe family. In 1925, it became the summer residence of Prince Friedrich Sigismund of Prussia and remained in the family's possession until 1945. In 1945, the owners were dispossessed and expelled by the communists. In 2000, the von der Lühe family repurchased the estate and restored the castle.
