Königsbrück Castle is located in the Neuenkirchen district of Melle in the Osnabrück district, Lower Saxony, Germany. It lies near the Warmenau, which here serves as the border between Lower Saxony and North Rhine-Westphalia.

The origin of the castle dates back to the Saxon Wars.

"So the legend of the origin of Königsbrück Castle south of Neuenkirchen, whose patron saint Wittekind, stood carved in stone on the southern tower of the Königsbrück estate until 1836, where he directed his gaze to the bridge below him. The predecessor of the current Königsbrück Castle is a four-winged complex built as a three-story moated castle in the Weser Renaissance style, which was surrounded by a double moat system.
