Kornburg Castle

The castle was already named in 1236 by the Nuremberg Imperial Butler Chunradus de Churenburc in a deed of gift. The name of the castle is said to derive from the old word "Kürn" for mill. The imperial ministerial family of Kornburg can also be traced in the 1260s.
