Kroisbach Castle is located in the eleventh district of Graz, Mariatrost, on the western slope of the Graz Plateau and in the Mariagrün Valley. This baroque edifice is also known as Haignitzhof.

History+

The construction of Kroisbach Castle took place between 1650 and 1655. Count Abundio Inzaghi commissioned master mason Domenico Rossi to build it in the Baroque style. Later, in 1694 and again in the 19th century, alterations to the castle were carried out under the aegis of the Counts Galler. A comprehensive restoration of the west facade occurred in 1965.
