Krumhermsdorf Castle

Krumhermsdorf Manor House is located between Hohnstein and Neustadt on the edge of Saxon Switzerland. As early as the 15th century, there was a knight's estate in Krumhermsdorf, which passed through the hands of various noble families. In 1694, Hannibal von Lüttichau acquired the property. In the 18th century, the baroque manor house was built under Wolf Siegfried Curt von Lüttichau. The estate remained in the possession of this family until 1791. In 1912, First Lieutenant Georg Philippi from Dresden became the owner of the knight's estate. The neo-baroque roof structures are attributed to him. In 1945, the owners were dispossessed and expelled by the communists. After 1945, a kindergarten and the LPG (Agricultural Production Cooperative) were housed in the manor house.
