Kupferzell Castle
The castle was built in 1721-29 by Philipp Ernst (Prince) zu Hohenlohe-Waldenburg-Schillingsfürst (1663 - 1759) with his main residence in Schillingsfürst. The Hohenlohe-Waldenburg main line received the princely dignity in 1745. From 1885-1922 the castle stood empty. On May 1, 1922, the Hohenlohe Agricultural Women's School Kupferzell opened in the castle. Today, the castle houses the state school for agriculture and home economics.
