Landscheid Castle (Burscheid)
Landscheid Castle, a knight's seat, is located in Burscheid and is now an attraction. It houses a restaurant and a hotel, combining historical architecture with modern comfort.
History+
The origins of Haus Landscheid date back to 1371, when it was owned by the knight Heinrich von Nesselrode. Between 1718 and 1725, a new building was erected on this site, replacing the original structure. After a period of use as a restaurant and conference venue from 1983, the building stood empty from 1998 to 2009. An extensive renovation and expansion in 2009 and 2010 led to its current use as a hotel, restaurant, and therapy center.
