Lang Castle is a historic structure in the municipality of Feldkirchen in Carinthia, Austria. Its history dates back to the early 14th century.

History+

Lang Castle was first documented in 1306. Around 1440, the estate came into the possession of the Pybriacher family, who also held the Himmelberg dominion. In the 18th century, the Jabornegg family resided at Lang Castle. A fire in 1810 destroyed the castle, but it was rebuilt. In 1831, the Platzer family acquired the estate, which remains in private ownership to this day.

Lang Castle is situated in Feldkirchen-Lang, a district of the town of Feldkirchen in the Feldkirchen district of Carinthia, Austria, at an elevation of approximately 584 m above sea level.

Lang Castle is a two-story building, with its current facade dating from the 19th century. A later added central risalit features loggias.
