On Hellbrunner Allee in Salzburg is Lasserhof Castle, also known as Gwandhaus. Today, it combines diverse uses as a restaurant, museum, and company headquarters.

History+

The Lasserhof was built before 1650 and originally bore this name. Early owners included the Dückher family, followed by the Counts of Martinitz from 1677. Prince-Archbishop Johann Ernst von Thun later ceded the property to the Ruperti Order, which he founded. After the dissolution of this knightly order in 1811, the estate returned to private ownership.
