In the municipality of Laugna in the district of Dillingen, Laugna Castle stands, a two-winged complex characterized by an octagonal corner tower. Surrounded by a small park and partially by a castle wall.

History+

The castle's origins date back to approximately 1590/95, when the Augsburg patrician Albrecht von Stetten had a manor house built. The current basic structure of the castle likely emerged around 1613, after the Fugger family acquired the Lordship of Bocksberg at the beginning of the 17th century. A redesign took place around 1830, as evidenced by the stucco ceilings in the upper floor's hall.
