Lenzfried Castle
Lenzfried Castle is a listed complex with a mansard and hip roof in the Lenzfried district of Kempten in the Allgäu. It is located in the vicinity of Lenzfried Abbey.
The current main building was built in 1770. The previous building, a patrician castle by Felix Kramer from 1582 with stepped gables and corner towers, was acquired by Kempten Abbey in 1762 and demolished. Subsequently, in 1770, under Prince-Abbot Honorius Roth von Schreckenstein, who was also the builder of the orangery, the current castle was built. The two-story building with a mansard roof has five by five axes. Above the entrance, a sandstone coat of arms of the builder with the inscription "1770" can be seen.
The outbuilding is a small plastered building with a mansard hip roof from the end of the 19th century.
