Leopoldsdorf Castle

Leopoldsdorf is first mentioned in a document in 1140. The feudal lords were the Babenbergs. Duke Frederick II the Quarrelsome enfeoffed the knight Tannhäuser with the estate.

In 1293, Ortulf von Leupolzdorf named himself after the property. Around 1358, the Counts of Pfannberg were the owners of the castle.
