Liel Castle was built around 1750 in the Baroque style by the Lords of Baden zu Liel, based on a design by Johann Caspar Bagnato. It is privately owned. In a side building, the "Kavaliersbau" (Cavalier's Building), the administration of Lieler Schlossbrunnen is now located.
