Liel Castle
In the Liel district of the municipality of Schliengen in Baden-Württemberg stands Liel Castle, a Baroque palace. It was built in the mid-18th century.
History+
The construction of Liel Castle took place around the year 1750. The builders were the Lords of Baden zu Liel, who commissioned the design by the architect Johann Caspar Bagnato. The building was executed in the Baroque style and has shaped the local landscape ever since.
