Maierhofen Castle
In 1591, the Maierhofen Hofmark came into the possession of Abbot Gregor IV of Prüfering, under whom the castle was rebuilt in its existing forms around 1600. Later in the 18th century, the property then passed to the electoral architect Henrico Zuccalli in Munich. From 1772-1805, ownership changed to Anton Wilhelm von Fabris. Today, the castle grounds are private.
