In the village of Mandorf in Carinthia, Austria, stands Mandorf Castle, a late Gothic structure. It now serves as a modern conference center.

History+

The first documented mention of Mandorf Castle dates back to 1521. It was commissioned and built by Hans Mandorfer, who was then captain of Ortenburg. Since 1802, the castle has been owned by the Pichler-Mandorf family, who continue to manage it today.
