Marienlay Castle (Morscheid)
Marienlay Castle stands on the eastern slope of the Ruwer Valley near Morscheid in the Trier-Saarburg district, Rhineland-Palatinate.
It was built between 1922 and 1927 from slate quarry stone and is located 220 meters above sea level. A predecessor building – the so-called Kelterhaus (press house) – dated from approximately 1880.
Today, the Reichsgraf von Kesselstatt winery is based there.
