The three-winged Markgrafenbau above the Wildbad, also called Fürstenbau, was commissioned by the last Margrave of Ansbach, Christian Friedrich Karl Alexander, and built by the margravial building conductor Carl Christian Riedel as a hunting lodge (1789 - 1790).
